Mother,
May 29, 2020Mother,
I don’t remember your face,
The warmth of your heart
Nor your smile.
So I won’t even speak
Of the taste of your milk.
A dated photo is all I was shown
So I lamented
Having missed love
From such a beauty.
Now I am not whole
For I don’t know motherly love,
Though I yearn for it everyday
I see many play with it day by day.
