General Guidelines:

1. Submission Language: Submissions should be in English or Kiswahili.
2. Original Manuscripts: We ONLY ACCEPT original manuscripts. Unsolicited submissions will be ignored.
3. Synopsis: Send a two-page synopsis of your book. Indicate if the manuscript has been submitted to another publisher, reviewed by a third party with their comments, or if it is being republished.
4. Cover Email: Include a brief, concise cover email about the book.
5. Manuscript Format:

• • The manuscript should be in MS Word—.doc or .docx.
  • Typed with 1.5 spacing, 12pt, Times New Roman font.
  • Include ‘Manuscript Submission by (your name)’ in the subject line of the email.
  • The body of the email should explain what your manuscript is about.

1. Previous Publications: If your work has been previously published, indicate where and when and whether you have non-exclusive rights from the publisher.
2. Author Information: The manuscript must include the author’s name, contact details, and address. Inform us of any changes in address.
3. Review Process: Manuscripts will be reviewed within 14 days, and authors will be informed whether their submission meets our publishing requirements. If accepted, a publishing contract will be offered, detailing the agreement terms.

 

Accepted Manuscript Categories:

1. Speculative Fiction: Sci-Fi, superhero, fantasy, horror, dystopian, supernatural, etc.
2. Fiction: Novels,Novellas, Short Stories (minimum of five stories), noir fiction, flash fiction stories, etc
3. Romance: From 20,000 words.
4. Crime, Mysteries, Thrillers
5. Poetry: General poetry
6. Children’s Stories: Should include illustrations.
